Job summary

Regal Hotels International is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering professional to assist the Chief Engineer in leading the engineering team. You will maintain day-to-day operations, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, and plan improvements for plant and machinery across Regal’s hotels.

The role requires a Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Service Engineering, at least 8 years of relevant experience with 5 years in a supervisory role, and valid electrical

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering team to maintain day to day operation, perform breakdown repair & maintenance as well as preventive maintenance.
• Plan, manage & execute the improvement projects for plant & machinery and fixed installations.
• Plan, prepare & conduct technical trainings for engineering associates.
• Maintain good documentation for all engineering activities and term maintenance contracts.
• Sustainable looking for utilities conservation.
• Lead engineering team to monitor and supervise outside contractors’ work.
• Liaise with internal users for hotel operations, energy saving and execution of all kinds of repair & maintenance works.
• Prepare and update record drawings.
• Prepare all relevant engineering documents and drawings for the renewal of all Hotel Licenses.
• Budget planning and cost control of engineering expenses.
• Capex planning for hotel long term maintenance and improvement works.
• Need to on-duty during Typhoon signal 8 or above.

Job Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Service Engineering disciplines
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience in which at least 5 years in supervisory level
• Holder of valid Registered Electrical Worker Grade B0 or above and Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate
• Holder of valid Registered Electrical Worker Grade A0, 5 years in supervisory level may consider as Assistant Technical Manager
• Familiar with relevant Code of Practice and Government Regulations in Engineering field
• Strong communication skills, good leadership & problem-solving techniques
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Sound computer knowledge in MS Office & AUTOCAD
• Good command of both written & spoken Chinese and English
