We are seeking a Manager – Facilities & Technical Services to oversee the daily maintenance and operations of our clubhouse facilities, prioritize preventive routines. This role requires a balance of administrative management and practical engineering work. In addition to supervising the technical team and managing contractors, the candidate is expected to provide hands‑on support and directly engage in on‑site technical troubleshooting to ensure smooth facility operations.
Oversee the daily maintenance of various building services and proprietary facilities, including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and Fire Service Installations.
Provide hands‑on technical support and work alongside the technician team to identify, diagnose, prompt resumption and solve complicate site issues and emergency breakdowns.
Able to interpret architectural and building services drawings to facilitate repair and maintenance works effectively and swiftly.
Act as a practical technical mentor. Provide day‑to‑day on‑the‑job guidance to ensure team professionalism, safety, and cross‑coverage during peak operations or emergencies. Continuously review manpower deployment to centralize technical resources for greater efficiency.
Engage, coordinate, and supervise external contractors (both routine and emergent) to ensure quality, safety compliance, budget control, and timely delivery.
Support management to prepare and manage annual capital budgets, ensuring strict compliance in tendering, contracting, procurement, work progress, payment and hand‑over processes .
Maintain excellent inter‑departmental relationships at both the working level and the management level, as well as effective external connections.
Enforce rigorous occupational health and safety practices for both daily operations, material, equipment usage and storage.
Ensure maintenance stock and consumption costs are properly documented by keeping accurate records. Provide periodic status, monitoring updates, and analytical reports to management.
Degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
Must be a Registered Electrical Worker (REW) holding a Grade B certificate or above, and a holder of a valid Green Card.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in building services or facilities maintenance, with at least 5 years at a supervisory or managerial level. Exposure to sizable sports complexes, recreational facilities, or clubhouses is an advantage.
Proven hands‑on experience in technical troubleshooting. Willingness to perform on‑site operational duties and directly assist in resolving facility breakdowns is required.
Well‑versed in the latest relevant statutory ordinances, codes of practice, and health & safety standards in Hong Kong.
Strong proactive sense with mature analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Overnight work may be necessary in case of emergency.
Salary will be commensurate with qualification and work experience.
