Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Senior Hotel Engineering Leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of all hotel facilities and maintenance services, safeguarding the property’s assets.

You will advise senior management on maintenance strategies, develop preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with hotel and government policies. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential; the role emphasizes leadership and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Registered Electrical Worker, Grade B or C with green card.
• Minimum 10 years of hotel experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, fire services, plumbing & drainage, and MVAC systems.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Commitment to sustainability and excellence.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and maintenance services.
• Advise senior management on maintenance strategies and operational efficiency.
• Ensure engineering installations and operations comply with policies and regulations.
• Adhere to statutory regulations and FLHSS measures for Lanson Place Hospitality.
• Prepare and evaluate designs and specifications for engineering projects.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and safety.
• Propose property enhancements for General Manager approval.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and maintenance services, safeguarding the property’s assets
• Provideadvice to senior management on maintenance strategies and operational efficiency
• Ensureall engineering installations, constructions, and operations are comply with hotel and government agencies’ policy and audience
• Ensureadherence to all statutory regulations and FLHSS (Fire Life Health Safety and Security) measures of Lanson Place Hospitality
• Prepareandevaluate thedesigns and specifications for all Engineering projects both in-house and via contractors
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and safety
• Submit property enhancement proposal and make recommendations for General Manager’s approval
• Performs all other related duties as assigned by General Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Building Services /Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or in a related discipline
• Registered Electrical Worker, Grade B or C and green card
• Minimum 10 years of hotel experience, andwith at least 5 years at managerial role or equivalent experience
• Good technical knowledge in electrical system, fire services system, plumbing & drainage system and MVAC system, etc.
• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting
• Strongleadership, problem-solvingand stakeholder management skills

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
