Job summary

One Advisors is partnering to recruit a Technical Implementation Lead based in Hong Kong. The role reports to the Head of Platform and collaborates with C-level executives on complex implementation programs, APIs and data interfaces across multi-product ecosystems.

The successful candidate will have 8–10+ years in technical delivery, senior stakeholder engagement, and deep API/data integration expertise, with a customer-focused, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years in technical implementation, solution delivery or platform integration roles.
• Ability to lead client communications, manage scope and boundaries.
• Deep knowledge of APIs, data flows, infrastructure environments and delivery lifecycle.
• Proven independent contributor with influence across product, engineering and project teams.
• End-to-end delivery experience from discovery to go-live and post-launch support.
• Familiarity with healthcare/health insurance domain and platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical lead to facilitate discussions, clarify risks, and drive client decisions to closure.
• Define strict scope boundaries, manage change requests, and push back tactfully to protect delivery commitments.
• Partner with the Project Manager to maintain governance cadence across risks, dependencies and logs.
• Own multi-product integration ensuring internal systems and client applications work cohesively.
• Design fit-for-purpose architectures and manage technical dependencies with architects.
• Maintain delivery discipline from discovery through SIT/UAT, go-live and hypercare.
• Lead API design, batch/real-time interfaces, error handling, and data mapping with client systems.
• Coordinate end-to-end integration readiness and defect resolution through testing phases.
• Align sandbox, pre-prod and production environments with Cloud/DevOps teams.
• Lead SIT execution, support UAT sign-off, and drive cutover readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
• Coordinate security assessments, disaster recovery testing, and regulatory governance prior to launch.

Summary

We are partnering with a prominent insurtech platform with strong regional establishments to assist their recruitment on a Technical Implementation Lead role. Reporting to the Head of Platform, this role will collaborate with C-level executives clients to oversee and drive the technical implementation process. The ideal candidate will be someone with certain programming (Java, Python or SQL), API management and solution design background who has transited into a client facing technical project management function.

What you will do

• Primary Client Contact: Serve as the main technical lead to facilitate discussions, clarify risks, and drive client decisions to closure.
• Scope & Change Control: Define strict scope boundaries, manage change requests, and push back tactfully to protect delivery commitments.
• Technical Governance: Partner with the Project Manager to maintain a streamlined governance cadence covering risks, dependencies, and decision logs.
• End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Own multi-product integration to ensure all internal systems and client applications work cohesively together.
• Architecture Design: Collaborate with tech leads and architects to design fit-for-purpose solution architectures and manage technical dependencies.
• Lifecycle Oversight: Maintain strong delivery discipline across all phases, from initial discovery and SIT/UAT through go-live and hypercare.
• Integration & Interface Design: Lead the design of APIs, batch/real-time data interfaces, error handling, and data mapping with client systems.
• Defect Triage & Readiness: Coordinate end-to-end integration readiness and manage internal defect resolution throughout testing phases.
• Environment & Infra Coordination: Align sandbox, pre-prod, and production environment setup with Cloud/DevOps teams to prevent project blockages.
• Testing & Cutover Management: Lead SIT execution, support UAT sign-off, and drive deployment readiness through cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization.
• Security & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate required security assessments, disaster recovery testing, and regulatory governance prior to launch.

What you will bring

• Education Requirements: Holds a Bachelor's degree at minimum, with an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) strongly preferred.
• Architectural & Technical Expertise: Translates complex customer needs into scalable, coherent technical solutions while navigating operational constraints.
