Job summary

KVB Group in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Team Lead, Global Payment & Settlement to drive the global payments function. You will lead end-to-end FX cross-border settlements, oversee reconciliations, and push operational excellence across cross-functional teams.

Build partnerships with banking partners and vendors, manage risk with SOPs and controls, and mentor a high-growth team in a fast-paced financial services environment. Fluent English and Mandarin required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business Admin or Accounting.
• 4–6+ years in financial services, esp. e-payments or transaction banking.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor operational teams.
• Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead, Global Payment & Settlement to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Align all resources to maximize performance of the global payment business; drive & foster the team to achieve business goals, and provide professional and constructive advice to the top management.
• Oversee and streamline end-to-end daily FX cross-border payment settlements, clearing, and account reconciliations, ensuring seamless, high-accuracy execution.
• Maintain strong oversight of operational risk management; establish, review, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational policies, and internal controls to comply with global statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, execute, and monitor key global operational projects, collaborating across departments to drive process efficiency and align operations with broader commercial goals.
• Build and nurture strong, strategic relationships with external partners, including banking partners, vendors, payment gateways, and clearing networks.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry, specifically in e-payments, global payments, FX management, or transaction banking.
• Proven track record in leading, mentoring, and managing operational teams within a fast-paced financial services environment.
• Exceptional strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and robust problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with global partners and cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment, with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
