Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a Taiwan Market Head for Private Banking. The role leads a private banking team across Taiwan, driving revenue, NNM and AUM growth while strengthening client penetration.

You will collaborate with bankers on complex wealth discussions and mentor a high-performing team of relationship managers. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required, with a track record in private banking or wealth management and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management, serving HNW & UHNW clients.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of Relationship Managers.
• Track record of driving team performance and business growth.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio management, lending & wealth structuring.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Established network within Taiwan HNW/UHNW clients preferred.
• Strategic mindset with commercial acumen and people management.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of Private Bankers covering Taiwan.
• Drive team performance against revenue, NNM, AUM growth and client acquisition.
• Partner with Private Bankers on client relationships and complex wealth discussions.
• Develop and execute business plans to grow Taiwan private banking.
• Provide leadership and coaching to relationship managers to enhance advisory capabilities.
• Promote cross-selling with investment, lending, wealth planning and product teams.
• Monitor portfolio concentration and risks ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and team-building initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across product, risk, compliance and operations.
• Represent the bank in Taiwan private banking and wealth management networks.
