Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) invites high calibre IT professionals to join as a contract-based project specialist. You will assist the Project Manager, shape system design, and coordinate vendors and security reviews to deliver cloud-enabled applications for HKIA.

You should have a degree in Computer Science or related, 3+ years IT experience with 2+ in mobile/web apps, and solid vendor and stakeholder management. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, IT or related.
• At least 3 years IT experience with 2+ years in mobile/web app analysis, design and support.
• Experience in project management, stakeholder and vendor management.
• Proven development and support experience in cloud-based platforms with system integrations.
• Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD on Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of iOS and Android app development.
• Experience in API / Microservice architecture.
• Gen AI knowledge is a plus.
• Strong English and Chinese; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to manage project implementation of the assigned project(s) and related initiatives.
• Manage the system design and requirement to achieve timely and precise delivery.
• Work closely with vendors and ITD information security team to review the security design of the system including interfaces with other systems.
• Review vendors' deliverables and source code and ensure vendors follow development standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with multiple stakeholders and vendors to manage all testing and acceptance activities.
• Monitor the vendors' performance for carrying out the project and support works throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 1 year with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related disciplines

• At least 3 years IT working experience and with 2 years' relevant experience in analysis, design, implementation and support of mobile and web applications

• Sound experience of project management, stakeholder management and vendor management

• Proven application development and support experience in cloud-based platforms/systems with system integrations

• Familiar with DevOps and related tools to enable continuous integration and deployments on Cloud Platform

• Good knowledge of mobile application development for iOS and Android

• Experience in API / Microservice system architecture

• Good knowledge of Gen AI and related technologies will be an advantage

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in mandarin is preferred
