Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) invites high calibre IT leaders to join as a Senior Enterprise Architect. You will translate complex requirements into an optimal technical design and bridge IT with business units, balancing strategic objectives with tactical needs.

You will drive the enterprise architecture roadmap, set standards, and collaborate with multiple architects to align across domains, while analysing the current IT landscape for improvements and staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines with at least 6 years of relevant experience, incl. 2 years in solution architecture.
• TOGAF certification preferred.
• Experience bridging IT and business, and coordinating with diverse stakeholder groups across large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business, functional, non-functional, integration, cybersecurity requirements into a cohesive, optimal technical design deliverable aligned with the enterprise IT landscape.
• Bridge communications between IT and business to ensure alignment of technical solutions to business goals.
• Ensure solution architecture balances company-wide strategy with short-term needs.
• Ensure architecture is integrated and well regarded by stakeholders and governance processes.
• Drive enterprise architecture and roadmap definition, including standards, reference architectures, and target-state blueprints.
• Collaborate with other architects to align and co-own the architecture strategy across domains.
• Lead analysis of the current IT environment to identify deficiencies and propose improvements.
• Stay updated on technology trends and assess their impact on the architecture landscape.
• Support and promote the development of AA HK Architecture Practice.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business, functional, non-functional, integration, cybersecurity requirements into a cohesive, optimal technical design deliverable that aligns with strategic enterprise IT landscape and target.
• Bridge communications between IT and business to ensure alignment of technical solutions to business goals
• Ensure solution architecture finds a balance between company-wide strategic needs and short-term tactical needs
• Ensure solution architecture is well integrated holistically and well regarded by stakeholders i.e. lines of business (LOBs), IT development / infrastructure / operations, and ensure compliance with governance processes
• Drive the enterprise architecture and roadmap definition, including standards and policies, architecture patterns, reference architectures, target state blueprints and roadmap for the relevant domain
• Work closely and collaborate with other architects to align and co-own the enterprise architecture strategy (for all business and technology domains)
• Lead analysis of the current IT environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in technology, industry, and corresponding business domain, analyze market trends to determine their potential impact on the company architecture landscape
• Support and promote the contiguous development of AAHK Architecture Practice

Requirements:

• Degree holderin Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines with at least 6 years of relevant experience, of which at least 2 years solution architecture experience
• Professional qualification inTOGAF certification is preferred
• Proficient knowledge and working experience in back-office services of large scale organization
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical alignment across diverse stakeholder groups through advanced collaboration, negotiation, and agility in dynamic environments
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environment
• Proven expertise in designing, structuring, and integrating enterprise-grade infrastructure components and middleware platforms of Compute & Virtualization, Storage & Resiliency, Enterprise Applications Integration platform, Identify & Core Services, End-to-End Integration
• Experience in Agile Architecture / DevOps is an advantage
• Being a motivated, self-driven individual and an experienced consultant with IT solution design background
• Excellent breadth of thinking, being able to provide pragmatic solutions that consider all relevant constraints whether technical, financial, organizational, risk or capacity based
• Understanding of aviation business and processes is an advantage
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application and project management software tools
