Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking an experienced AI/GenAI product manager to drive digitalization across airport operations and services. You will collaborate with stakeholders, design AI-enabled journeys, and supervise solution architecture and governance.

You will lead planning and delivery of AI projects, evaluate benefits, and stay ahead of market developments to ensure safe, compliant, and high-impact deployments in a complex transportation environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Big Data Analytics, AI or related disciplines; minimum IT experience required.
• 3+ years in project or product management with end-to-end delivery including analysis or design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze airport business and operations with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize digitalization use cases.
• Act as project manager for initiatives implementing digital products and manage partners to ensure quality, schedule, and budget.
• Lead AI/GenAI/Agentic AI product management to design digital journeys that improve productivity and services.
• Review technical designs from partners and provide constructive input aligned with project goals.
• Quantify cost and benefits of digitalization with leadership across departments.
• Ensure solution architecture and implementation comply with AA standards and IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders & partners to analyze current airport business and operations to identify and prioritize the use cases for process optimization via digitalization


• Act as project manager of various initiatives to implement the digital products for the HKIA, manage solution partners to ensure the deliverables with good quality, within schedule and approved budget using different project delivery methodologies


• Act as AI/GenAI/Agentic AI product manager to lay out the digital journey by managing the planning, architecture and design, activities and quality related to but not limited to AI/GenAI/Agentic AI products to improve airport productivity and services


• Participate in technical design process, reviewing the technical designs and documents provided by partners, provide constructive suggestions and insights to ensure they align with the project objectives and goals of the solutions


• Work closely with cross-functional leaders and peers from other departments to quantify the cost and benefits of digitalization by working out the objectives, approaches, level of digitalization, expected outcomes and benefits


• Work closely with ITD governance parties (e.g. Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure) to ensure solution architecture and design, and implementation compliance with AA standards, regulations and industry best practices


• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI/GenAI/Agentic AI solutions and collaborate with internal/external teams and business partners to identify continuous improvement opportunities and enhance the product


• Keep the innovation mind-set. Conduct market research and study to stay updated on latest technologies and best practices related to but not limited to AI/GenAI/Agentic AI

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence or related disciplines with at least 6 years of IT experience, of which at least 3 years in project or product management role with end-to-end product delivery including solution design, business analysis or similar experience


• Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, Agile Scrum Master certifications, Business Analytics, Design Thinking or equivalent certifications preferred


• Hands-on experience in solution delivery using waterfall, agile or hybrid model with strong business analytics and documentation skills using relevant tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.


• Hands-on experience in cloud-based, on-premises and mixed technical design, implementation and support of AI, GenAI and/or Agentic AI solutions is preferred. Knowledge of model fine-tuning and evaluation techniques, agentic harness engineering would be an advantage


• Experience in AI/GenAI/Agentic AI tools in the market such as productivity tools, image/video/audio generation tools/solutions, coding assistance tools, autonomous agents, etc. would be an added advantage


• Mature, self-motivated, customer-oriented with excellent communication and project/product management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Detail-oriented, well-organized and good time management, open-minded and flexible, proactive with a strong sense of ownership


• Strong drive for continuous learning and professional growth, enthusiasm for the latest AI/GenAI/Agentic AI technologies and their applications


• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
