Job summary

ISF is seeking an IT Systems Administrator in Hong Kong to manage virtualization, storage, and network infrastructure for a school environment. You will back up data, perform upgrades, and harden security with firewalls, WAF, and MFA configurations.

Proficiency in AD, Microsoft 365, and Google Admin is required to support enterprise identities and cloud platforms while coordinating with vendors for system maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must manage virtualization and storage platforms with prudent change control.
• Experience administering Active Directory and cloud identities.
• Strong knowledge of network security and threat monitoring.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google Admin consoles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
• Perform regular data backups and implement system upgrades.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, antivirus, and spam filtering tools to ensure robust network and security management (i.e. Participate in activities involving firewalls, WAF, IPSec VPN, and zero-trust security frameworks).
• Monitor system performance and address security alerts, phishing activities, and malware threats to safeguard the school’s network and maintain uninterrupted connectivity.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations and incident logs, and prepare periodic reports on system health, security status, and performance metrics.
• supporting the Active Directory, ADFS, SSO, and MFA configurations, and helping manage Microsoft 365 and Google administration platforms;
• Collaborate with teammates and provide support when they encounter IT-related challenges, delivering direct troubleshooting for end-user hardware, software, and connectivity issues; and
• Coordinate with external vendors for system fixes, upgrades, and maintenance.
