Job summary

PERSOL in Hong Kong is seeking a Network Engineer to design, configure and maintain the network infrastructure supporting Building Management, Energy Management, and related systems. You will install servers and devices, test integrations, and help ensure seamless OT/IT convergence.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in engineering or IT, hands-on experience in network engineering and system administration, and familiarity with BACnet, Modbus or MQTT.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics Engineering or related field
• Experience in network engineering, system administration or infrastructure support
• Experience with BMS, EMS, FMS, SCADA or IoT systems will be an advantage
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, firewalls and VPN
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux and virtualization will be an advantage
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, OPC, MQTT or SNMP will be an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team
• CCNA, CCNP, Network+, ITIL or relevant certifications will be an advantage
