Job summary

A regional IT services provider in Hong Kong is looking for a dedicated IT professional to implement and maintain the Flight Information Display System in an airport setting. The role demands experience in Linux administration and networking, with an emphasis on multimedia systems support. Ideal candidates will have solid communication skills in both English and Chinese, coupled with at least two years of relevant experience. Outside office hour support will be expected during emergencies and scheduled maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Linux administration or networking.
• Experience with Flight Information Display Systems is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support digital signage, LED Wall, Audio/Visual, multimedia and other Communications Engineering systems for various sizable system implementations.

Job Requirements

• University/Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science from a recognized institute or equivalent
• At least 2 year experience in Linux administration, PC support or networking
• Airport operation with flight information display system experience would be an advantage
• Self-initiative, responsible, good interpersonal & communication skills and able to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Outside office hour support is required in case of emergency and scheduled maintenance
