Job summary

A regional IT services and solutions provider in Hong Kong is looking for a System Engineer to implement and maintain the Flight Information Display System in an airport setting. The ideal candidate should hold a University or Higher Diploma in Computer Science and have at least 2 years of experience in Linux/Windows administration, along with good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese. Understanding airport operations is a plus. Emergency support outside office hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Implementation, maintenance and support of the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) in Airport environment.
• Support digital signage, multimedia and other Communications Engineering systems for various sizable system implementations.

Job Requirements

• University/Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science from a recognized institute or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience in Linux/Windows administration, PC support and networking
• Airport operation with flight information display system experience would be an advantage
• Self-initiative, responsible, good interpersonal & communication skills and able to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Outside office hour support is required in case of emergency and scheduled maintenance
