Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is hiring a System Development Manager for the Listing Systems team in Hong Kong. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support modern web applications used by listed companies, collaborating with business users, infrastructure, security, and development teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least four years of experience with mission-critical enterprise apps, cloud technologies, microservices, SPA, and API

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in development, implementation, and support of mission-critical web applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (Huawei Cloud Stack preferred), microservices, event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with SPA, API design and governance, RESTful services, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Knowledge of database design and data modeling (PostgreSQL, GaussDB, Redis advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, change management, and release management.
• Define and execute testing to ensure functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support application delivery through all project lifecycle stages.
• Coordinate with teams and vendors to ensure quality deliverables and adherence to standards.
