Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) seeks an experienced System Development Manager to own the full SDLC for listing division applications. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support modern web-based systems used by listed companies, guiding cross-functional teams and coordinating with vendors to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT/SE, 8+ years in enterprise web apps, strong leadership, and expertise in SPA, API design, and security

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
8+ years of experience in enterprise web applications development and support.
Senior System Analyst or equivalent with vendor management experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of SPA, API design, and OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, GaussDB, Redis, and data modeling.
Proven leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Participate in project planning, scheduling, and release management.
Monitor progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
