Job summary
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is seeking a System Development Manager for the Listing Systems team. You will lead the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of modern web applications used by all listed companies.
The role emphasizes production support, SDLC leadership, and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders in a regulated environment, with a focus on Java, .NET, microservices, containers, and cloud
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines.
- Experience in supporting mission-critical business applications.
- Hands-on development experience with Java, JavaScript, and .NET.
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows server environments and web technologies.
Responsibilities
- Production support and enhancement of mission critical web and cloud application systems.
- Lead and participate in all SDLC phases from requirements to deployment and support.
- Plan and perform system maintenance tasks including performance monitoring, vulnerability management and incidents.
- Coach junior team members and liaise with IT, business users and external vendors.
