Job summary

HKBN is hiring an Assistant Engineer / Engineer (Switching Network) in Hong Kong. You will monitor network health, perform system upgrades and backup restoration, and provide second-line support to internal teams.

The role requires a diploma or higher in CS and familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and basic switches and routers. The position may involve a 7x24 shift with monthly allowances, and candidates with 1 year of network experience will be considered for the Assistant Engineer level.

Qualifications

• High Diploma or above in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet services and applications.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, switches & routers (basic) preferred.
• Shell scripting or programming languages is an advantage.
• 1-year experience in network field is an advantage; candidates with less experience considered as Assistant Engineer.
• 7x24 shift duty required with monthly allowance.
