Job summary

AlphaSights is hiring a Summer Associate in Hong Kong for a 10-week program (June 14, 2027 – August 20, 2027). You’ll serve as the link between clients and experts, managing multiple live projects and using tech-enabled workflows to meet tight deadlines.

You’ll own end-to-end communications, leverage AI tools to map value chains, and learn to navigate regulatory contexts while building transferable commercial and client-management skills. A full-time offer may follow for graduates.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student with strong academic performance (GPA ≥ 3.3).
• Extracurricular achievement throughout school and university.
• Excellent communication skills and internship experience preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client-expert communications, spending significant time on phone screening and negotiating with experts to match clients’ requests.
• Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools to map industry value chains and engage with relevant experts.
• Understand the project and market context and the legal and regulatory environment in which clients and experts operate.

A day in the life of a Summer Associate

As a Summer Associate in the Client Service team, you’ll be the link between our clients and the expert knowledge they seek. Throughout your workday, you’ll work on multiple projects from investors, strategists and dealmakers at top-tier client organizations seeking expert insights to inform their decision-making. This is a communications-intense frontline role requiring you to multitask across parallel workstreams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning end-to-end client-expert communications , spending a significant part of your day on the phone screening and negotiating with relevant experts to position the best possible matches for your clients’ requests.
• Leveraging AI-powered sourcing tools to map complex industry value chains and identify and engage with relevant experts.
• Understanding the project and market context and the legal and regulatory environment in which your clients and experts operate.

Requirements

• Penultimate year student (Class of 2028)
• Track record of strong academic performance (minimum GPA of 3.3)
• Extracurricular achievement throughout school and university
• Internship experience evidencing an interest in business is a plus
• Outstanding communication skills
• Fluency in English and additional language skills are desired (Mandarin, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Tagalog, Japanese)
• Fully available for the entire duration of the internship: June 14, 2027 – August 20, 2027

Compensation and benefits

• Internship compensation: HKD26,000 per month
