Job summary

Alpha FMC in Hong Kong is offering a Graduate Internship for June to August 2027. You will work directly with management teams across the world's largest asset managers, assisting in project delivery, performing Excel-based analyses, and creating content for client meetings in PowerPoint.

We seek ambitious, proactive candidates with a strong analytical mindset, a GPA of 3.0–4.3, fluency in English, and an interest in asset and wealth management.

• Predicted to or achieved a GPA between 3.00 and 4.30 during university studies.

Responsibilities

• Following the project delivery plan and producing accurate, complete, and timely deliverables to support your project team.
• Supporting the creation of client deliverables by assisting in the facilitation of client meetings and workshops, maintaining project plans, performing analysis in Excel, and providing effective content creation (e.g., PowerPoint).
• Developing meaningful and successful relationships with clients and vendors by acting as a helpful and respectful point of contact for stakeholders.
• Contributing to the wider Alpha community by participating in one or more of Alpha's business management or practice areas.
• Maintaining a high-level understanding of the challenges facing the Asset & Wealth Management Industry.

Candidate Profile

We look for candidates who are eager to make an impact and fulfil the below requirements:

Skills and Mindset

• Predicted to or achieved a 3.00 - 4.3 GPA during their university degree
• Have a genuine interest in consulting and the asset & wealth management industry
• Be highly ambitious, proactive and entrepreneurial with a 'can do' attitude
• Have strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
• Willingness to be part of a team which enjoys working hard and socialising together
• An interest in assisting with one or more areas of business management

Language Skills

• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Cantonese is strongly preferred
• Mandarin language skills would be an advantage

Work Experience

• Prior consulting experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in adjacent fields such as law, finance, IT, or technology is preferred; however, we are open to candidates from a broad range of background
