Job summary

Melco Resorts & Entertainment in Hong Kong is seeking a Manager, Public Relations to take a proactive, strategic lead in formulating PR programs that enhance the company’s image and reputation among target audiences.

You will develop long- and short-term PR plans for City of Dreams, manage relationships with journalists and influencers across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and other key markets, and lead agencies to deliver press materials on schedule and within the communications calendar.

Qualifications

• Over 3-5 years of relevant PR experience in hospitality or travel (priority).
• Strong media outreach and relations.
• Previous HK market experience is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Develop long- and short-term PR strategies and plans for City of Dreams, focusing on PR to optimize brand image and messages.
• Build, manage and support brand relationships with journalists, celebrities and agents for high visibility in key markets (Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand).
• Lead agencies to prepare qualified press releases on time according to the communications calendar.
• Generate positive PR exposure for various campaigns and events.
• Maintain good communication with key stakeholders to support company objectives.
• Manage PR agencies ensuring proper briefing and approval processes.
• Pitch interview opportunities for Melco executives per business requests.
• Create materials (factsheets, speeches, Q&A, briefing books) aligned with the calendar.
• Support planning and execution of PR events and budget forecasting.
