Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an experienced strategist to lead group-level planning, drive integrated business plans with sales channels, and develop partnerships to grow profitability. You will embed a customer-first mindset and deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to senior management.

The role requires a university degree and 8+ years in insurance or financial services, with CPA or MBA preferred.

Qualifications

University degree with over 8 years working experience in insurance/financial services, management consulting or corporate strategy.
CPA, MBA or equivalent preferred.
Proven experience in financial analysis, management reporting, strategic planning.
Innovative, curious and courageous to share insights and propose new ideas in business solution.
Strategic, analytical, and growth mindset, self-motivated and result-oriented.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Be a team player.
Strong in MS Excel and PowerPoint tools for developing financial models, data analysis and management presentation.
Good command of written & spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Drive the formulation of overall PD strategy and integrated business plans with sales channels.
Lead and drive new partnership business development and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the desired outcome.
Manage strategic plan development/ budget planning/ forecasting process/ sales target setting.
Provide and manage management and performance reporting with insightful analysis and recommendations to various management groups and stakeholders.
Analyze performance across revenue and expenses lines to identify and explore business opportunities.
Monitor and keep track of business initiatives and provide timely updates and recommendations to the management.
Observe market trends, changes and developments to identify opportunities and challenges, and provide ideas and assessment to maximize business strength and opportunities.
Collect and analyze market needs from various sources with insights for management team to formulate business plan for PD.
Define, drive and develop sales incentive scheme for sales channels.
Ensure compliance with local budget and expense guideline, establish and maintain appropriate internal controls.
Communicate business directions to PD staff via different platforms to align expectations and increase staff engagement.
Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by direct manager and department heads in order to meet business needs
