Job summary

DBS Bank in Hong Kong is seeking a Relationship Manager for the Corporate and Investment Banking segment. You will identify opportunities, structure facilities to meet client needs, and negotiate terms while protecting the bank's interests.

You will monitor utilization, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues. The role requires strong communication in English and Putonghua, solid credit judgment, and RI qualifications.

Qualifications

• Preferably degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing or Economics.
• Good credit evaluation skill.
• Good communication in English and Putonghua.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Good teamwork spirit.
• Registered RI (SFC HKSI) with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Identify potential business opportunities from new and existing customers.
• Structure credit facilities to meet customer requirements and protect Bank's interests.
• Negotiate pricing arrangements with customers.
• Monitor account performance to ensure good facility utilization and to control overdue situations.
• Provide prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries about banking operations.
• Liaise with other departments to solve customer problems.
• Obtain up-to-date market information in the banking industry to help develop new products.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies, lending guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform regulated activities under SFO Type 1 and 4.
• Comply with HKMA and SFC conduct requirements where applicable.
