Airport Authority Hong Kong invites high calibre candidates to join our noise mitigation and capacity planning teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders on the implementation of the Noise Quota Count scheme, QC4 restrictions, noise data analysis, and contour modelling to enhance airport operations.

Joining the team requires strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with airport operations, and a background in operations research or related fields.

Formación

• Degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Data Science, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in aviation operations or planning.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with an understanding of airport operations.
• Knowledge of the aviation industry is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with analytical or OR tools is an advantage.
• Proficient in SQL databases and GIS applications is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on the implementation of noise mitigation measures, including administration of the Noise Quota Count (QC) Scheme, QC4 operational restrictions, noise data analysis, and computer-based noise contour modelling
• Support the team in the administration of the Building Restricted Area Assessment Scheme (BRASS) and Airport Height Restriction (AHR) matters
• Assist in airport capacity and runway slot allocation analyses through data compilation and analysis, and identification of potential constraints to enhance airfield efficiency and capacity utilisation
• Assist in the development of analytical and predictive tools and models to support operational studies and planning
• Assist in defining operational standards and requirements, and provide inputs to major airport and airfield development initiatives
