Job summary

7-Eleven (DFI Retail Group) in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced professional to lead Store Planning and Projects, focusing on layout optimization and design development.

You will develop layouts for new and remodel projects, manage design proposals, coordinate approvals, and drive standardisation and cross-functional collaboration.

Strong AutoCAD, 3D rendering, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, plus English and Chinese proficiency are essential for timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Interior Design, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail space planning, interior design, construction planning, or project management.
• FMCG retail space planning and design experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint; SketchUp knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Store Planning & Layout Management: Develop and manage store layout plans for new stores, remodels and minor enhancements.
• Store Design Development: Prepare and manage design proposals, elevations, perspectives and submission packages.
• Design Standards Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure designs comply with guidelines and standards; identify improvement opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Project Management, Facilities and Licensing teams.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Consolidate and analyze data to evaluate business performance and prepare reports.
• Project & Meeting Coordination: Organize design review meetings and monitor progress for timely delivery.
