Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a PhD-level power electronics expert to join our advanced power solutions team in Hong Kong. You will define DC/DC power conversion ICs and modules, research new topologies, and test power technologies, while providing technical support to customers.

The role involves collaboration with design engineers, FAE and marketing to validate new products, create datasheets, and resolve customer issues. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in EE or Power Electronics is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in power electronics, analog or digital circuitry.
• Ability to debug and analyze hardware issues with basic lab equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork; strong English speaking/writing.

Responsibilities

• Define DC/DC power conversion ICs and modules; research new topology and power technology.
• Provide application support and issue debugging for end customers, collaborating with design, FAE and marketing.

Job Description

Define DC/DC power conversion ICs & modules, research on new topology, new power technology, application test & issue debug for power ICs, and technique support for end customers.

Responsibilities

Work with design engineer, FAE and marketing engineer to define new ICs New product function validation and issue debug IC datasheet creating, demo board design Technique support, problem solving for FAE or end customer.

Qualifications

Ph.D degree in EE or Power Electronics 1~3 years’ experience in power electronics, analog circuitry, digital circuitry etc. Capable to debug and analyze hardware circuitry issues; can use basic equipment like scope, DC supply, PCB soldering. Good communication skills, and team worker Good English Speaking and Writing skill SPMS, power supply, MCU, GaN experience are preferred.
