Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in Hong Kong seeks an Engineer to define DC/DC power conversion ICs, perform application testing and issue debugging, and provide technical support for customers.

You will work with design, FAEs and marketing to define new ICs, validate functions, create datasheets, and design demo boards. The role requires a Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics, hands-on hardware debugging skills with scopes and power supplies, good English communication, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics.
• Experience in power electronics, analog and digital circuitry.
• Able to debug and analyze hardware issues; can use oscilloscope, DC supply, PCB soldering.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.
• SPMS, power supply, MCU, GaN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Define DC/DC power conversion ICs, application test & issue debug for power ICs, and technique support for end customers

Responsibilities:

• Work with design engineer, FAE and marketing engineer to define new ICs
• New product function validation and issue debug
• IC datasheet creating, demo board design
• Technique support, problem solving for FAE or end customer

Qualifications:

• EE or Power Electronics Major master’s degree
• Experience in power electronics, analog circuitry, digital circuitry etc.
• Capable to debug and analyze hardware circuitry issues; can use basic equipment like scope, DC supply, PCB soldering.
• Good communication skills, and team worker
• Good English Speaking and Writing skill
• SPMS, power supply, MCU, GaN experience are preferred
