Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in Hong Kong is seeking a PhD-level engineer to define DC/DC power conversion ICs and modules, research new topologies, and provide technical support for customers and FAEs.

The role involves collaboration with design, marketing, and testing teams, validation of new products, and creation of datasheets and demo boards. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in EE or Power Electronics.
• 1–3 years experience in power electronics, analog, or digital circuitry.
• Capable of debugging and analyzing hardware circuitry; basic equipment like scope, DC supply, PCB soldering.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Define DC/DC power conversion ICs & modules, research on new topology and power technologies.

Job Description:

Define DC/DC power conversion ICs & modules, research on new topology, new power technology, application test & issue debug for power ICs, and technique support for end customers

Responsibilities:

• Work with design engineer, FAE and marketing engineer to define new ICs
• New product function validation and issue debug
• IC datasheet creating, demo board design
• Technique support, problem solving for FAE or end customer

Qualifications:

• Ph.D degree in EE or Power Electronics
• 1~3 years' experience in power electronics, analog circuitry, digital circuitry etc.
• Capable to debug and analyze hardware circuitry issues; can use basic equipment like scope, DC supply, PCB soldering.
• Good communication skills, and team worker
• Good English Speaking and Writing skill
• SPMS, power supply, MCU, GaN experience are preferred
