Job summary

KOS International Talent Group is seeking a technically strong Solution Manager (DC Architect) in Hong Kong. You will design practical, scalable fibre and structured-cabling solutions for new deployments and expansion projects, coordinating with engineering and commercial stakeholders.

The role is manager-level with individual contributor duties, focusing on technical layouts, feasibility, and end-to-end implementation in data-centre environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in telecom infrastructure, fibre connectivity, structured cabling or data-centre design.
• Experience with data-centre operators, telecom carriers or systems integrators.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements and translate into fibre, connectivity and cabling solutions.
• Develop technical designs for data halls, fibre routes and cabling architectures.
• Assess feasibility, capacity, delivery impact and pricing implications.
• Provide technical input during customer engagement and project planning.
• Collaborate with networking, cabling, project and operations teams for end-to-end solutions.

Our client is a leading technology and critical-infrastructure organisation in Hong Kong and they are seeking a technically strong Solution Manager (DC Architect) to develop practical, scalable and commercially viable fibre and structured-cabling solutions. This is a manager-level individual contributor role. You will work with customers, engineering teams, network specialists and commercial stakeholders to define physical-connectivity solutions for new deployments and expansion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements and translate them into feasible fibre, telecom-connectivity and structured-cabling solutions.
• Develop technical designs for new data halls, including fibre routes, structured cabling, connectivity architecture and implementation approaches.
• Assess technical feasibility, capacity, delivery requirements and commercial implications of proposed solutions.
• Provide technical input during customer engagement, solution planning and infrastructure expansion projects.
• Work closely with networking, cabling, project and operations teams to ensure integrated end-to-end solutions.
• Support design standards, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Telecommunications, Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of solid experience in telecom infrastructure, fibre connectivity, structured cabling or physical-layer data-centre design.
• Experience gained from a data-centre operator, telecom carrier, systems integrator, structured-cabling provider or other critical-infrastructure environment.
• Strong understanding of fibre routes, structured cabling, physical connectivity and data-centre infrastructure.
• Able to communicate technical solutions clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness, with the ability to consider feasibility, capacity, delivery impact and pricing implications.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
