Job summary

Master Concept is seeking a Solutions Consultant to drive application modernization for clients in the APAC region. You will analyze current app landscapes, design modernization roadmaps, and craft tailored proposals with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Hold a high diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Solution Consultant or similar role, with a focus on app modernization.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex application landscapes and propose effective modernization strategies.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Technical Expertise: Have a solid understanding of various technology stacks, including mobile apps, web apps, APIs, data management, and martech.
• Business Analyst Skills: Demonstrate business analyst skills, with the ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
• GenAI Familiarity: Familiarity with GenAI (General Artificial Intelligence) is preferred, as it can provide an advantage in proposing innovative modernization approaches.

Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their current application landscape, pain points, and business objectives.
• In-Depth Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of existing applications to identify areas for improvement and modernization.
• Tailored Solutions: Utilize expertise in various technology stacks to design and propose modernization solutions that align with clients' specific needs and visions.
• Proposal and Roadmap Development: Develop comprehensive proposals, presentations, and roadmaps, outlining the modernization vision, timelines, and phased approach.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, cloud and security architects, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation of modernization solutions.
• Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the modernization process, addressing challenges and concerns promptly.
• Proof-of-Concept Initiatives: Occasionally handle proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to demonstrate the feasibility and value of modernization solutions to clients.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in application modernization, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills.
