Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited is seeking a Sr Applications Developer to lead development, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications that power critical business operations. You will work with stakeholders to deliver modern solutions, drive digital transformation, and leverage AI-enabled practices.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, React, Node.js, and strong DB skills (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL). Cantonese/English fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of application development and support experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE Jakarta EE, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, React.js, Node.js.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with container technologies and modern development practices.
• Experience integrating applications with Azure AD, SSO, MFA preferred.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications and business systems.
• Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage application development projects from design through implementation.
• Support and troubleshoot system issues with infrastructure and network teams.
• Drive system modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve business processes.
• Manage external vendors and outsourced application solutions.
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability.
