Bare Cove Technology Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Software Engineer who will influence architecture, design, and strategy for the software development unit. You will work on website and system development, plus infrastructure scripting and automation.

You will touch both internal and client-facing projects, and may provide software development consulting. The role reports to the CTO with guidance from senior engineers and is based at our Central office.

• Experience with web development technologies such as React Js and Nodejs.
• Experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Knowledge in AWS and Azure, RESTful API design, ORM concepts, and software testing.
• Experience with containerization and AI-enhanced workflows.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bare Cove Technology is looking for a Software Engineer who wants to have influence in the architecture, design and strategy of the software development business unit. The candidate will be focusing on website and system development. The candidate will also be involved with infrastructure scripting and automation. The candidate will touch both internal projects and client-facing projects. The candidate will also involve in software development consulting.

This role is based in our Central, Hong Kong office. The candidate will be reporting to the Chief Technology Officer with guidance from the senior engineers.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with web development technologies such as React Js and Nodejs.
• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge in PowerShell.
• Experience with Typescript.
• Working knowledge with AWS and Azure.
• Experience with RESTful API design, ORM concepts, software testing.
• Experience with containerization.
• Experience with AI-enhanced workflows.
• Experience with Bloomberg API is an advantage.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge in UXUI design is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure Automation is a plus.
• Willing to be a Full-Stack Engineer is a plus.
• Comfortable working directly with clients.
