Job summary

Seamatch Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a software developer to design and implement cross‑platform mobile app features with a strong focus on UI/UX responsiveness and scalable backend APIs.

You will work on frontend components using modern web frameworks, develop robust backend services, and collaborate on UI/UX implementation to deliver a seamless mobile-first experience across BIM-AM Portal, AIMP and CDE integrations.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in IT application development, including at least 1 year in a similar post.
• Proficient in backend languages and frameworks (Python, NodeJS).
• Strong self-learning ability to quickly research and adopt new languages and platforms.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile app features with a focus on UI/UX responsiveness.
• Implement frontend components and responsive layouts using modern web frameworks.
• Develop and maintain robust backend APIs and server-side logic to facilitate data exchange between frontend components and core systems.
• Execute automated frontend testing (e.g., Selenium) to ensure UI component functionality.
• Collaborate on UI/UX design implementation to ensure a seamless mobile-first user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues to optimize application performance for mobile devices.
• Participate in the enhancement and integration of the BIM-AM Portal, AIMP, and CDE with other internal and external systems.
• Execute feasibility studies, user requirement implementation, and system development for data retrieved from CDE, Building Management System (BMS), and IoT sensors.
• Perform hands-on software development tasks within the development life cycle, collaborating with senior developers and contractors.

About you

Thrives on technical challenges and navigating complex business logic

Experience in database management and schema design using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
