With a sizeable in-house IT function supporting regional and international operations, they are investing heavily in modern application platforms, cloud technologies, and AI-enabled software engineering practices.

They are seeking an experienced System Analyst to join their development team. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise applications, collaborate with overseas stakeholders, and drive digital transformation initiatives across multiple business units worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business users, product teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications leveraging modern cloud-native architectures.
• Drive technical solution design and oversee development activities across the full software development lifecycle.
• Modernize and optimize existing applications, ensuring high standards of performance, security, maintainability, and scalability.
• Work closely with architects, developers, QA teams, UI/UX designers, and external partners to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery processes and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
• Support application deployment, release management, system upgrades, and production readiness activities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-driven development tools, and engineering best practices to improve team productivity and solution quality.
• Provide application support and troubleshooting for mission-critical systems when required.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to development teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Around 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with exposure to enterprise-scale application environments.
• Prior experience in a team lead, supervisory, or project leadership capacity.
• Strong backend development experience using Java, Spring Boot, and modern enterprise application frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices, distributed systems, or cloud-based applications.
• Solid frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot or similar) and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and related DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development workflows would be advantageous.
• Occasional regional travel may be required.
