Job summary

BAH Partners, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the Investment platform in Hong Kong. You will remain hands-on while partnering with Portfolio Managers, Traders and Risk professionals across APAC.

You will build investment tools for analysis, simulation, risk and trading workflows, deliver production solutions across front end, back end and data layers, and influence the platform's global roadmap.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
• Back-end experience with an object-oriented language, ideally C# or Java.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data-driven applications.
• Experience delivering and supporting production applications across the full tech stack.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, with experience working directly with business users to shape technical solutions.
• Understanding of portfolio-management, trading, and risk workflows.
• Self-directed and regional representative of a global engineering team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate.

My client is a leading Hedge Fund specializing in quantitative, systematic, and fundamental strategies across global markets.

They are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to serve as the standalone person for their Investment platform in Hong Kong.

This is not a traditional management or satellite support position. The successful candidate will remain highly hands-on while acting as the primary technology partner to Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Risk professionals across the region. You will build investment applications, shape the global product roadmap, and ensure the platform reflects the unique requirements of APAC investment teams.

What You'll Do

• Experience acting as a regional technology lead within a global engineering organization
• Experience establishing or expanding a regional engineering presence
• Familiarity with AI or agentic development tools
• Cantonese or Mandarin language proficiency for working with regional stakeholders
