Job summary

The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council 鄰舍輔導會 in Hong Kong seeks a Social Worker to lead and manage a two-year project focusing on elderly people from ethnic minority communities in Tung Chung and Lantau Island.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating services; coordinating programs for elderly and carers; supervising staff; and reporting outcomes, with shifts including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Social Work or equivalent.
• Registered Social Worker.
• HKDSE/HKCEE Level 2+ in English and Chinese.
• Experience in Ethnic Minorities Service or family services preferred.
• Fluency in English and Chinese; minority language advantage.
• Ability to work Saturdays, Sundays and evenings.

Requirements:

• Relevant experiences in Ethnic Minorities Service, Family Services, casework setting or outreaching settings are preferred;


• Fluency in English and spoken Chinese would be an advantage;


• Ability to speak a minority language such as Urdu, Hindi or Nepali will be preferred.
