Job summary

CFSC CHRISTIAN FAMILY SERVICE CENTRE 基督教家庭服務中心 is seeking a school social worker to provide comprehensive social work services at a designated secondary school. The role includes casework, group work and coordinating community resources to benefit students and their families, with a focus on youth projects and service development.

Qualifications

• University degree in Social Work and registration under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance is required.
• Proficiency in English (Syllabus B) and Chinese (HKCEE Grade E or HKDSE Level 2) is required.
• Possess the Child Protection Online Training (Module 1 & 2) e-certificate.
• Experience serving Mainland Chinese students and parents is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Preferable 3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Able to work independently and communicate with people at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide school social work service in a designated secondary school through casework, group work, programmes and resource coordination for students, families and the school.
• Assist the team to implement youth projects and service development.
• Complete duties within the recruitment and school support framework; adhere to timelines.

Education

University degree in Social Work (registered under Social Workers Registration Ordinance)

English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language at Grade E or above (HKCEE)/Level 2 HKDSE

• 3 years' relevant post-qualification experience preferable;
  
• Has a strong interest in working with young people;
  
• Be able to work independently and to communicate with people at different levels.

Job Duties

• To provide school social work service in one designated secondary school through provision of casework service, groups, programmes and coordination of community resources for the benefit of students, their families and the school;
  
• To assist the team to implement youth projects and service development of the team;
