Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years on-site construction management experience.
• 3+ years in data center, mission-critical facilities, or high-tech projects.
• HK safety credentials preferred (TCP1/Green Card) and strong MEP testing knowledge.
• Fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Stationed on-site to manage all construction activities, site logistics, and quality against drawings and specs.
• Supervise main contractors, MEP subcontractors, and vendors; lead daily meetings to resolve clashes.
• Enforce strict quality control, FAT/SAT, and commissioning support.
• Enforce EHS policies and HK safety regulations; maintain a zero-incident culture.
• Track critical paths, identify delays, and implement mitigation plans affecting budget or schedule.
• Liaise between Project Managers, Engineers, Client Representatives, and HK authorities.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Site Manager to lead on-site construction execution for our high-profile Data Center project located at Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong. This role will be fully based on-site, responsible for daily construction oversight, contractor coordination, quality control, EHS compliance, and progress monitoring for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and civil/fit-out works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to strict data center standards.

Responsibilities

• Stationed daily at the project site to directly manage and monitor all construction activities, contractor workmanship, site logistics, and installation quality against approved engineering drawings and specifications.
• Supervise main contractors, MEP subcontractors, and vendors; lead daily tool-box talks and site coordination meetings to resolve physical spatial clashes and trade interferences.
• Enforce strict quality control on incoming materials and workmanship; oversee inspection points, factory/site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT), and integrated commissioning (Level 1–5 commissioning support).
• Strictly enforce Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and Hong Kong safety regulations (e.g., Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance); maintain a zero-incident safety culture on site.
• Track critical paths, identify potential delay risks early, implement mitigation plans, and manage site instructions/change requests impacting budget or timeline.
• Serve as the primary on-site focal point to liaise effectively between Project Managers, Engineers, Client Representatives, and HK statutory bodies/utilities (e.g., FSD, CLP).

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of on-site construction management experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to Data Center construction, mission-critical facilities, or high-tech industrial projects.
• Valid HK Safety Credentials (e.g., TCP1, Green Card, or Registered Safety Officer status) preferred; deep expertise in MEP installation and testing workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (essential for managing local site workers and international management).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, high stress tolerance, and outstanding hands-on leadership skills in a dynamic site environment.
