A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior E&M Project Manager for significant data centre projects in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, including at least 3 years focusing on data centre project delivery. Responsibilities include leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring project quality and safety. Preferred candidates will have local experience and relevant professional qualifications. Proficiency in English and Cantonese is advantageous.

About the job Senior E&M Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Project leader for new build and A&A type data centre projects, providing the leadership and management across all aspects of pre-construction and construction activities;
• Work closely with senior client stakeholders, design consultants and supply chain;
• Manage and coordinate preconstruction and design development activities;
• Mange all aspects of the financial performance of the project;
• Ensure project is delivered safely and to the required quality in-line with the company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• At least 15 years' post qualification experience with a minimum of 3 years spent working on data centre project delivery;
• Previous experience managing data centre projects is essential;
• Recognized University Degree in in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Professional qualifications such as MHKIE, CIBSE, IET, IMechE, RPE or equivalent is preferred;
• Able to work independently with strong project management, communication and leadership skills;
• Previous Hong Kong project experience preferred together with understanding of the Hong Kong local authority statutory approvals process is a benefit;
• Proficient in English and Cantonese (preferred) and with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Candidates with lesser experience may be considered for the role of E&M Project Manager.
