Job summary

New World Development Company Limited is seeking a Technical Officer in Hong Kong to oversee repair, maintenance, and technical coordination across assigned sites. The role supports day-to-day operations, planned works, and project activities through the site lifecycle, including handover and renovation.

The position requires a higher diploma or above in Building Services Engineering, with experience in building services, E&M maintenance, and renovation projects.

Qualifications

• Strong coordination and communication skills required to work with site teams, contractors, and maintenance staff.
• Good problem-solving abilities to address diverse site conditions and project stages.
• Familiarity with regulations, standards, and codes of practice relevant to building services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure timely and effective completion of repair, maintenance, and technical works.
• Oversee the performance of on-site maintenance personnel and support daily operational needs.
• Manage procurement and tendering processes for maintenance works, services, and technical projects.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and improvement works according to site requirements.
• Support and monitor fit-out, renovation, A&A, or project works, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, prepare reports, and provide technical advice to facilitate smooth site operations at various stages.
