Job summary

Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Engineer to support engineering design submissions and site coordination. You will monitor progress, assist in checking structural design and test reports, and provide engineering support across site projects.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Civil/Structural/Building Engineering and familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office. 2+ years post-graduation in civil/structural works at a main contractor is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of civil/structural/building engineering foundations.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese.

Those projects include the redevelopment of public housing estates, the Private Sector Participation Scheme for the Hong Kong Housing Authority, construction of school buildings for primary, secondary and tertiary institutes, and a range of commercial, industrial, residential and shopping arcade projects for the private sector.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Civil / Structural / Building Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years post graduated working experience in civil, structural, building works at main contractor
• Familiar withprojectcoordinationandsite progress monitoring
• Good Knowledge of computer applications in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-motivated, a logical and systematic thinker
