Kin Wing Engineering Company Limited is a Hong Kong-based engineering firm delivering foundation and site investigation projects. We seek a proactive Design Engineer to contribute high-quality engineering designs and support for diverse foundation works.

Seniority may allow mentorship toward Assistant Design Engineer with access to professional development. Responsibilities include designing and submitting to statutory bodies, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring robust design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience for the Design Engineer role.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as SAFE and SAP2000.
• Familiarity with geotechnical software such as FREW, PLAXIS 2D, Slope/W and Seep/W.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural and geotechnical designs and provide technical support for foundation projects and tenders.
• Prepare design submissions (foundation, ELS, and pile cap) to BD and ArchSD.
• Collaborate with project and site teams; attend site visits to coordinate design implementation and resolve technical challenges.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Design Engineer with a positive attitude to join our professional design team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering designs for our diverse range of foundation projects.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Design Engineer, with access to mentorship and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural and geotechnical designs and provide technical support for foundation projects and tenders.
• Prepare design submissions (including foundation, ELS, and pile cap) to statutory departments such as BD and ArchSD.
• Collaborate closely with project and site team; attend site visits as necessary to coordinate design implementation and resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience for the Design Engineer position.
• Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates are welcome to apply for Assistant Design Engineer.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as SAFE and SAP2000 is preferred.
• Familiarity with geotechnical software such as FREW, PLAXIS 2D, Slope/W, and Seep/W is highly appreciated.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
