Job summary

Osmium Consulting Group is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Reporting professional in Hong Kong to manage end-to-end FRR for SFC types 1, 2, 4, 5 and 9. The role involves preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual FRR submissions, ensuring strict compliance with SFC rules.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years in financial regulatory reporting, deep HKFRS/IFRS knowledge, and experience in securities or financial services. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA qualification preferred.
• 5–6 years of experience in financial regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SFC rules and HKFRS/IFRS.
• Experience in securities/financial services desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Financial Regulatory Reporting (FRR) for SFC Types 1, 2, 4, 5 and 9 businesses.
• Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual SFC FRR returns on time and in full compliance with SFC rules.
• Liaise with regulators and external auditors to facilitate audits and inspections.
• Implement and refine policies, processes, and controls to streamline FRR practices.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather data for accurate reporting.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to keep the team compliant.
