Job summary

Osmium Consulting Group Limited is seeking a Financial Regulatory Reporting professional in Hong Kong to manage end-to-end FRR for SFC Types 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9 businesses. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and ensuring timely monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions in full compliance with SFC rules.

You will liaise with regulators and external auditors, implement robust reporting controls, and collaborate with multiple internal teams to gather data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• CPA qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in financial regulatory reporting.
• Deep knowledge of SFC regulatory requirements and HKFRS/IFRS.
• Experience in securities or financial services environments is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Financial Regulatory Reporting (FRR) for SFC Types 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9 businesses.
• Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual SFC FRR returns in full compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors to facilitate audits and inspections.
• Implement and refine policies, processes, and controls to streamline reporting practices.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather data for accurate reporting.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to stay compliant.
