Job summary

BIT is a global digital asset financial services group seeking an experienced treasury professional to manage payments and settlement operations in a fast-paced environment in Hong Kong.

The role requires 5-7 years in treasury/operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple counterparties across time zones. Mandarin is advantageous for cross-border engagement, and shift-based hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related disciplines.
• 5-7 years of treasury, banking operations or payments processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of treasury, trade settlements and funds movement.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Shift-based rotation and willingness to work outside standard hours.
• Diligent and detail-minded.
• Team player with good communication with internal/external parties.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting various aspects of the organization’s business activities and counterparty relationships.
• Opening and managing the organization’s digital assets (sub) accounts / wallets held in platforms of various counterparties.
• Handling and approving payment instructions raised by business partners; verifying and cross-checking payment amounts and counterparties’ wallet information.
• Completing payment processes, releasing funds to counterparties, ensuring due diligence on processes and procedures.
• Operating with teamwork and flexibility, sometimes during evening hours or weekends/public holidays to liaise with counterparties from different time-zones.
• Supporting month-end reporting processes.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Shift-based rotation;
• Diligent and detail-minded;
• Team player with demonstrated ability to communicate and partner with internal / external parties;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous, due to need to work closely with Mandarin as well as English speaking stakeholders.
