Job summary

BIT is seeking a detail-oriented operations professional to support US equities and listed equity options trading in a fast-paced Hong Kong environment. You will monitor positions, assist with option strategies, and manage the full options lifecycle from expiry to settlement.

Collaborate with risk, compliance, and clearing teams to ensure accurate post-trade processing, hedging during volatility, and timely trade resolution. Prior experience in trade support is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background or strong interest in equity trading, equity options, or derivatives operations.
• Understanding of options fundamentals and Greeks.
• Experience in trade support, middle office, or brokerage operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution and monitoring of US equities and listed equity options trades.
• Assist with option strategy execution, including covered calls, protective puts, spreads, and yield enhancement strategies.
• Monitor positions, option Greeks, and overall risk exposure.
• Support hedging activities during periods of market volatility.
• Manage the full options lifecycle, including expiry, exercise, assignment, and settlement.
• Monitor and resolve trade breaks, abnormal trades, and booking discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate trade booking, confirmation, and post-trade processing across trading and clearing systems.
• Monitor intraday P&L, margin usage, and position limits.
• Work closely with risk management, compliance, and clearing teams on operational and risk-related matters.
• Support trading system monitoring and operational readiness during market hours.
• Assist with onboarding new products or markets and adapting workflows to exchange-specific rules.

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable supporting trading activities during market hours and volatile periods
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with traders, risk, and operations teams
• Familiarity with trading platforms, OMS/EMS, or post-trade systems is a plus
