Job summary

St. James' Settlement in Fo Tan seeks an Associate Degree/ Diploma holder to support gerontech education and rental services for the elderly and their carers.

You will identify service opportunities, plan campaigns, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote access to gerontech education and rental offerings. Proficiency in English and Chinese, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• HKDSE 5 subjects level 2 or above (including Chinese and English) or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant working experience in elderly, rehabilitation, or healthcare services.
• Mature and responsible work attitude.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Open to new opportunities, agile and solution-oriented to overcome challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with service users and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify new Gerontech Service opportunities based on market trends and customer needs. Explore ways to improve the accessibility and reach of Gerontech services
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the Gerontech education and rental service. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective promotional strategies, events, and seminars
• Provide assessments and arrange the rental and usage of Gerontech equipment for the elderly living at home and their carers. Conduct home visits, install equipment, provide training, and perform regular follow-ups
• Responsible for rental service case management, including scheduling assessments, rental payments, deliveries, installations, cleaning and maintenance, and coordination with different departments

"Founded by the Rt. Rev. Bishop R.O. Hall of the Anglican Church in 1949, St. James’ Settlement began as a club for boys and girls in a temple in Stone Nullah Lane, Wanchai. It was then developed into a six-storey building on Kennedy Road in 1963 to provide diversified services, including children and youth services, elderly services and rehabilitation services. In 1987, the headquarters was opened in Stone Nullah Lane so that the scope of services could be further extended.
