Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hong Kong is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth daily operation of plant and facilities equipment. You will regularly inspect equipment rooms, guide weekend duty technicians, and perform repairs to mechanical and electrical systems in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certification in electrical or mechanical repair (e.g., HVAC, PLC systems).
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
• Ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot effectively, and provide clear instructions for repairs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (preferred).
• Familiarity with local safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of equipment rooms and facilities to identify issues, using predefined checklists.
• Guide duty technicians on weekend work plans and provide technical recommendations as needed.
• Perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with vendors for urgent maintenance tasks and ensure timely resolution.
• Expedite equipment relocations, installations, and modifications (MACs) to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with local government regulations in all maintenance activities.

What this job involves: Technician will involve in the overall upkeep of plant and facilities equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. He/she needs to regularly inspect all equipment rooms and other facilities, and take note of any problem using the predefined checklists.
