Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is recruiting for an Insurance-focused Business Analyst to join a leading insurance organization in Hong Kong. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and delivering digital platform projects, with emphasis on API integrations and vendor coordination.

You will collaborate with business users and IT teams, document BRD/FSD, and support UAT and production rollout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably in insurance.
• Strong understanding of website development projects and digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations, web services, RESTful APIs, and system interfaces.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Proven experience managing external vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with UAT planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Work with business users to understand processes, pain points, and digital transformation needs.
• Participate in website enhancement and digital platform projects.
• Analyze and define API integration requirements between internal and external systems.
• Prepare BRD, FSD, user stories, and process flows.
• Coordinate with internal IT, development teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage vendors to ensure deliverables, timelines, and quality.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, UAT preparation, testing, and production rollout.
• Monitor progress, identify risks/issues, and provide resolutions.
• Support system implementation, enhancement, and post-go-live activities.
• Communicate project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
