Job summary

OKX is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer for its Trading Service at its Hong Kong offices. You will own architectural direction for core trading components, drive high-performance, low-latency systems in Java and C++, and mentor engineers across multiple teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Expert-level proficiency in modern C++, with memory management, lock-free concurrency, and performance tuning.
10+ years of experience building high-performance, ultra-low latency distributed systems in Java.
Proven leadership or architecture experience for core system components, with expertise in message-oriented middleware.

Responsibilities

Define and own the long-term architecture for core trading platform components.
Lead cross-team technical projects spanning multiple engineering groups.
Eliminate bottlenecks to achieve low latency and high throughput in trading systems.
Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to senior engineers.
Stay informed on industry trends and propose innovative optimizations for the platform.
