Job summary

OKX is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for the Liquidity Platform's Options Market Making team in Hong Kong. You will design, build, and operate automated options market making systems, covering data, pricing, quoting, and hedging, while collaborating with trading, quantitative, and product teams.

You will drive end-to-end delivery with AI-enabled tooling, improve system performance and reliability, and lead architectural evolution across modules, balancing latency and throughput in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in backend engineering, real-time systems, infrastructure, or trading systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Rust, or C++, with ability to work in multilingual codebases.
• Strong CS fundamentals: OS, networks, multithreading, distributed systems.
• Experience using AI coding tools for requirements analysis, development, testing, and code review.
• Strong analytical skills, ownership, and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate automated options market making systems covering data, pricing, quoting, and hedging.
• Collaborate with trading, quantitative, and product teams to translate requirements into production systems.
• Improve performance, stability, and maintainability of critical trading paths.
• Apply AI coding tools to requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and code review while ensuring production quality.
• Enhance testing, monitoring, alerting, and recovery capabilities; participate in incident reviews.
• Own technical design and code review of core modules; lead cross-module projects and evolution.
